Starch indicator solution

Take 0.5g of soluble starch, add 5mL of water and stir well, then slowly pour it into 100mL of boiling water, stir while adding, continue to boil for 2 minutes, cool, and pour out the upper clear liquid. This solution should be freshly prepared before use.

Dilute sulfuric acid

Take 57mL of sulfuric acid and dilute it to 1000mL with water.

Operation steps: Take about 1g of this product, weigh it accurately, put it in a beaker, add 120mL of water, stir to dissolve, and titrate with sodium thiosulfate titrant (0.1mol/L) according to the potentiometric titration method (Appendix VII A). Each 1mL of sodium thiosulfate titrant (0.1mol/L) is equivalent to 12.69mg of I.

Note 1: "Precision weighing" means that the weight should be weighed accurately to one thousandth of the weight, and "precision measurement" means that the accuracy of the measured volume should meet the accuracy requirements of the volume pipette in the national standard.

Note 2: "Water content determination" uses the drying method, take 2~5g of the test sample, spread it flat in a flat weighing bottle that has been dried to constant weight, with a thickness of no more than 5mm, and loose test samples not exceeding 10mm, accurately weigh, open the bottle cap and dry it at 100~105℃ for 5 hours, cover the bottle cap, move it to a dryer, cool it for 30 minutes, accurately weigh it, and then dry it at the above temperature for 1 hour, cool it, and weigh it until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 5mg. Calculate the water content (%) in the test sample based on the lost weight.
