Product Introduction
PVP K25 performance:

Solubility: PVP is a water-soluble polymer, which is not only miscible with water, but also soluble in many organic solvents such as alcohols, carboxylic acids, amines, and halogenated hydrocarbons.

Film-forming properties: PVP has very good film-forming properties. PVP can be cast or coated to form a film when dissolved in some solvents such as water, methanol, ethanol, etc.

Water absorption: PVP has strong water absorption and moisturizing properties, and is often used in advanced cosmetics.

Dispersibility and solubility: PVP of small molecules has a good dispersing effect, preventing particles from agglomerating and precipitating. PVP can increase the solubility of many substances in aqueous solutions.

Complexing: The O atom and N atom in the PVP molecule are typical coordination atoms, which enable it to complex with certain substances, such as iodine, benzene, amorpholine and a variety of sulfonamides.

Industrial application:

Adhesive: PVP solution has good viscosity and is used as an adhesive in solid glue sticks, stamps, band-aids, plaster bandages, etc.

Coatings and inks: PVP has excellent dispersing properties. The coatings added with PVP can increase viscosity, improve tinting strength, eliminate floating phenomenon, disperse and stabilize pigment components, improve gloss, and avoid pigment flocculation and precipitation.

Membrane and new materials: PVP can not only effectively improve the hydrophilicity of the membrane, but also can control the membrane pore size and distribution by selecting PVP with different molecular weights and controlling the amount of addition. In addition, PVP has applications in the fields of new materials such as drag reduction materials, optical fibers, laser discs, photo-curable resins, and photosensitive materials.

Electronics industry: PVP is used in the photo-glue of the picture tube to increase the contrast and resolution of the picture tube. It can also be used in nickel-chromium and lithium batteries, and printed circuit boards.
