Nmp Excellent872-50-4 (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone, CAS 872-50-4) is an ultrapure aprotic solvent (≥99.95% GC).Engineered for critical electronics/pharma processes requiring <10 ppm water content.

Colorless transparent oily liquid with a slight amine odor. It is miscible with water, alcohols, ethers, esters, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatics and castor oil. Low volatility, good thermal and chemical stability, and volatilization with water vapor. It is hygroscopic. Sensitivity to light. It is a polar aproton transport solvent with the advantages of low toxicity, high boiling point, outstanding solubility, strong selectivity and good stability.
